Pumpkin Patch in North Georgia

Beautiful Fall colors at Burt’s Pumpkin Patch!

How is it that October flew by so fast?! So fast that me and Cris almost missed our chance to visit a pumpkin patch! On October 31st I was determined to do 3 things...

  1. Start the day with a pumpkin latte.

  2. Visit a pumpkin patch.

  3. Go on a hay ride.

Successful!

(scroll down to see my travel tips)

Burt’s pumpkin patch is about 1.5hrs from Atlanta, and wayyyy longer if you get stuck in traffic Lol.

  • Opens at 9am daily and unfortunately no pets are allowed.

  • Free to enter & Free to park

October is literally their busiest season. So if you need to visit a Pumpkin patch I suggest you go during the week days while everyone is at work still. If you can't go on week days then go right when they open! Expect lots of Pumpkins, EVEN MORE than what you see pictured here. (But also expect more people and kids).

  • Hay rides are only $6 per person! They last about 20mins and it’s super cute.

We we got lucky and had a wonderfully (gay) private hay ride Lol! They have decorated areas that you’ll pass and you even ride through their actual pumpkin farm. If you go late in the season like us, you won’t see many pumpkins in the field, as most of them have been picked and sold.

  • Don’t forget to hit their little shopping area inside the barn where you will find $8 homemade pumpkin pies! (and lots more delicious jams/treats to take home)
