Be An Original
I'm a fan of traveling comfortably, but there is a thin line between that & inappropriate.
Here is my quick go-to guide for airport attire:
- House slippers are NEVER okay. (you are not Beyonce or Adele, with a private jet)
- Sweats are acceptable, as long as you don't usually wear them to bed.
- Sneakers are comfy & recommended (ladies: pack heels in your carry-on for a quick change)
- Pajamas are NOT a good idea. (did your friend tell you it was? they aren't your friend.)
- Hats are okay, I understand a bad hair day... but shower caps and rollers are a definite NO. (seriously? the airport is not your home, no matter how much you travel)
- Keep your baggage to a minimum, less to keep up with and easier to move through airport.
Just remember this, being an original doesn't mean you have to dress crazy to get noticed! :)
My new favorite luggage, ORIGINAL PENGUIN!
Stylish, practical, multiple compartments, sleek, easy to maneuver, and sturdy!
Pictured below wearing:
- Converse Chuck Taylors
- H&M Black Jumper (feels loose like sweats)
- Urban Outfitters cheetah print backpack
- NBA official hat "The City"
- Original Penguin luggage (carry-on size)
Update picture: Different day, another example of a comfy yet appropriate airport outfit.
